Proper Tuhti Dehydrated Food

Tuhti is a moderately spicy, slightly hot, approximately 500-calorie meal. In all its deliciousness, it consists of rice noodles, dried meat, vegetables, and a good amount of butter powder. The butter powder gives Tuhti a really pleasant creamy taste. Tuhti contains approximately 21g of protein per meal, which is quite a good amount. You only need to add water and wait for about 10 minutes.

Preparing the Dehydrated Food

• Boil water. Tear open the pouch from the tear notch found at the top edge of the pouch, above the resealable mechanism.
• Pour hot water into the pouch so that the water is at the same level as the top surface of the dehydrated food. The amount is approximately 1.5 dl.
• Open the bottom of the pouch completely.
• Mix the dehydrated food thoroughly with water to achieve the most even result possible.
• Let it steep for 5-10 minutes.
• Carefully tear away the excess packaging material from the tear notch in the middle of the pouch to make eating easier; be careful not to let the pouch tear downwards.
